“I am the very proud owner of a brand new Defiance 220EX. I picked her up from Rob Sanford at Offshore Boat Centers, next to Seaforth Landing in San Diego last summer.
All rigging was professionally installed by Offshore Boat Centers (Defiance Dealer). I am extremely impressed with the installation to include the clean and secure cable runs, wire loom and bundle dressing of all the interfaced components. They even upgraded the entire DC primary distribution system to a heavier duty increased current capability to support the technology payload.
Very special thanks go out to Steven Sanford of Offshore Boat Centers. This young man is a highly skilled, dedicated professional that worked many hours into the late evenings to get Sea Hog rigged and ready for delivery on time, as promised. I recognize the heavy demands of this industry during this particular time of the season, and consider this a testament of his dedication.
I have had many offshore excursions on Sea Hog since last summer. She has been running very efficiently and flawlessly every trip, and I have full confidence in her reliability and seaworthiness to get me comfortably offshore and back home. I look forward to many years of confident, comfortable and enjoyable fishing opportunities.”

“Being our third boat we’ve purchased, we have been able to go longer, stay dryer, go faster, bring more fish onboard (two new species we were unable to boat with our other boats), all in great comfort. We have definitely been able to make more memorable and enjoyable fishing trips with our family!”

“I first saw the 260 Defiance in an ad back in winter 2005 and loved the aggressive lines. My company needed a pilot house boat to use as a testing platform and for promotional purposes. I was very impressed with the quality of the boat when I first saw it in the Miami 2005 show. The fact that it used vacuum infused core fiberglass technologies with no wood was a big advantage over what I saw with the Parker. The hull was well designed and it tracked well and dry. It was important that with all our equipment inside that it have a strong locking door, and the Defiance with its’ Norwegian TrioVing locking door did not disappoint.
I have over 330 hours on my Suzukis so far and have not had any issues. Last summer I had it 9 foot seas 3 hours out (55 miles) into the Atlantic and I felt very confident with the way the boat handled. I have fished from Maine to North Carolina and the boat never seems to stop amazing me. Everyone who has been out with me is always very impressed with the boat. It is definitely built to last and I have never been happier with a purchase.”
